Welcome - so glad you stopped by!

Here you will find a collection of lots of images from multiple years - but the same consistency will repeat itself over and over again and that is real people being themselves with a teeny bit of posing help. Grandma always loves those pictures where everyone is smiling, no heads are cut off, and everyone (even you, Dad!) looks happy and that is the goal for all sessions.

Photography is specific to every individual. While I might be a great fit for grandma, I might not be the best fit for you. My style might not match yours and that is totally okay!

Chat with me!

Want to meet with me over coffee? Or how about dinner? Or if you aren't local to me, a quick video chat (Hangouts, Skype, Facetime, etc)? Call me! I'm even great with a texting conversation if that is what you prefer. But let's talk!

FAQ

What do I wear?

This is where I will refer you to Pinterest to be able to share you some visual ideas. Your group should go together with what you are wearing, but you don't have to be matchy matchy. Pick a color scheme and wear stripes, prints, and solids also adding layers will add some visual interest.

What equipment do I use?

I mainly shoot with a Canon 5d Mark ii with a prime lens - right now I'm hooked on my 100mm macro lens!

What do I use to edit?

I use Adobe Photoshop Lightroom as my main editing tool. I will use Adobe Photoshop for some basic headswapping and if I need to extend a background. Otherwise, I don't go to extremes with editing. I want you to always look like you - just a little enhanced :)

How long does a session last?

Generally an hour is the perfect amount of time to chat, get comfortable, photograph you and your group, and still get to know everyone. I follow attitudes and emotions pretty so I can almost always gauge when everyone is done.

How long will it take to get my photos?

Up to four weeks! If it becomes anything longer, I will be communicating with you.

I want pictures, but I don't know what to do with myself!

Easy! You listen to me for direction. I might get a little too close to your personal space and I might ask you to do something weird, but I promise to walk you through the whole thing. Like your right side better than your left? Well we will take full advantage of that right side!

What is the booking process look like?

Send me a email or some form of communication first so we can get it on the books. Otherwise, payment is due on the day of your session along with a signed contract for your session. Just about anything can be arranged and I am flexible as long as we are all on the same page and communicating.

What do I get with a session?

You get the time for the session and a digital gallery with the images available for download. Click "Clients" on the left hand side to see other client galleries as an example.

Do I have to purchase prints through you?

The final answer is no. However, I always ask that you order your first round of prints through your gallery! The pricing is set to be affordable enough to buy everyone on your list a professional print.

Where am I located?

I am based out of Lafayette, Indiana but I am always ready to travel. Just tell me when and where to go!
